Gossip Girl was finally back on last night, a new episode!!! I would have been in pure bliss had I not had to look at this dress every time the lovely Blair came onscreen:

I searched the internet for hours last night for the hideousity. I will now need to find every Catherine Holstein Tuxedo Bib Dress in the world and make a big bon-fire. Either that or gauge my eyes out. I am not sure I can live in a world where this dress exists.

i watched it too and i thought she was going to a costume party or job in a bar or something before i realized she was actually wearing that dress just because!!
BTW- i really liked the show! it was my first time watching and will look out for it again

One of the reasons I love that show is because of the fashion. I love seeing what Blair and Serena are wearing. Sometimes the outfits are way out there (like the hideous tuxedo bib dress!), but one wonders just how far they’ll push it on the fashion part so that viewers will follow those trends…I mean, I’ve seen girls try to mimic the “look” Blair and S have. I would totally laugh my butt off if that HTBD became a trend! Somehow, I don’t think it will. At least I hope not!

i adored this dress and the costume designer, Eric is amazing, i hope to study fashion in the future and this dress is an example of why.
