Does Ego Boost boost my ego???

Over the next few weeks I will be doing a series of reviews of product I got through Banler.  The folks at Banler must have found my blog and recognized my deep and true love of all things product, since they contacted me and asked me to review their website and some of thier products, which I agreed to do. In the interest of honesty, I will say that I got the products for free…but Banler does want my honest reviews and opinions, and that is what I will share. Banler, BTW, is a great place (and I don’t just say that because I got free loot from them). They sell a lot of big name Skin and Hair products (Philosophy, Matrix, Peter Thomas Roth, Kendra, Tigi, and Sebastian to name a few) at great prices with reasonable shipping costs.  Their communication is great, the web-site is lovely and easy to navigate, and their products are shipped quickly and well. They do accept international orders, however require a credit card authorization form be filled out in order to do so…unless you use paypal. Then  you can bypass the authorization form, and since I love Pay Pal, that’s all good. I haven’t actually bought anything yet, but I’ll let you know when I do how the check-out process is.

The first product I will review is Tigi Bed Head Ego Boost Split End Mender & Leave-In Conditioner

I love Bed Head products and use thier Shampoos and Conditioners regularily (right now I am rocking the Control Freak set) and I am a big fan of leave in conditioners and smoothers, so this seemed like a great product for me to try. I have not been disppointed. Then clear syrum like formula really does seem to smooth split ends when applied to dry hair. Not only did it work to smooth my relatively healthy ends, but also the girl’s ends. They are awful, as she wants long princess hair and has not had a trim in…well…I forget how long. Here are some pics of her hair before and after applying the Ego Boost though:

It is clear that her  hair looks much shinier and healthier and the split ends are much less obvious after I smoothed a drop of Ego Boost over her dry locks. I would not say that the product mends split ands, as I really don’t think anything can mend damaged hair, but it does give the split ends the appearance of being mended, and that can only be a god thing.

Used as a leave inconditioner on wet hair before styling, Ego Boost also delivers, leaving my hair easy to comb and looking shiny and healthy after drying and flat-ironing.

One work of caution though-Do not use too much, or you will end up with a greasy mess you would rather avoid. Other than that, this product in a cute bottle with an affordable price ($14.85 a bottle at Banler, and I am sure this stuff will last forever as you just need a drop) works very well.

On a completely unrelated note, isn’t this pretty:

P.S. WordPress has been evil and changed their…whatever you call what you use to publish..and speel check seems to have disappearted, sos orry for any typos! WordPress, hear my pleas: GIVE ME SPELLCHECK OR GIVE ME DEATH!!!

I love that stuff. The salon I go to uses it on my generally ratty hair, and it is teh awesome.

Spell check is still there-it just moved. I have google toolbar installed anyway, which has a better checker. :)

You found my favorite place! I love the products from Banler. I’ve been wanting to try the Tigi Ego Boost but wasn’t sure. My split ends aren’t that bad, but it looks like this product might be the right fix. You said not to use too much, so it’s true that a little will go a long way?
