I recently started watching Nip/Tuck, and now I cannot stop…even though I have now only watched 3 episodes of a show that I have missed the first 4 and 1/2 seasons. It is strange how quickly I caught on to the show, though there are some things I still need to work out (like how Gina and Christian ended up with a black son…anyone know? Is he adopted?).
Anyways, the show is really twisted. Really really twisted…and the plastic surgery scenes are the least twisted in the show. In the 3 episodes I have watched two people have died (one was f&cked the death, the other stuffed to death) newlyweds have eaten pieces of one another’s flesh, a pre-school teacher has bitten her students for pleasure and…well…need I say more? Yet somehow, I enjoy the show very much in spite of how very very wrong it is.

My 21 year old brother got me into the show a few years ago when he came up to the island to visit us. He had a bunch of episodes on his laptop and I swear, I spent most of his visit watching the show on his computer! LOL!
It is a really bizarre show. At first, I was (and still am) very squeamish about some of the scenes and the content of the show, but I am somehow very intrigued at the same time. Weird? Kind of sick? LOL! The show really does get one coming back for more though.

Gina was a hooker and a sex addict. She had a relationship with Christian, but was still getting some on the side. When she got pregnant they naturally believed it to be Christian’s. However, when the baby was born it was discovered that she had sex with some random guy. They found the guy, who was much older and married. They fought over custody of the child, but eventually (can’t remember exactly how)I believe Christian ended up with him. I know that it was promised that Gina was never to have custody, because she was…well, she was she. There was one scene where there were men lined up outside her apartment. They cut to her with her legs in the air. She was on a mission to become pregnant again and had enlisted the guys she met at her Sex Anon meetings.
I love this shows. I caught it around season 2. If you have netflix, they should have all the back seasons. It is fun to catch up, but then once you do it is hard to watch just one show.
