Today begins my Annual April Time Off. I always take time off in April because…well because I can. This year I am only taking one week, today until April 30th. It wont be a very relaxing week, I have a lot to do, but hopefully I’ll fit in some R&R time.
Here is my list of tasks for the coming 7 days:
1) Take the girl for her annual medical (appointment is made).
2) Get the cat her annual medical (appointment is made).
3) Buy some new spring/summer clothes. I have gained about 10lbs this sad winter, and since I was at my thinnest in years last spring and summer, very little of my warm weather clothes fits. I don’t think getting back into shape in time to fit back into it all this year is in my future, so a shopping I will go.
4) Attend a focus group and make $75 for new clothes in less than one hour (already scheduled).
5) Prepare for the 16 or so people I am having for Brunch on Sunday.
6) Do some spring cleaning.
7) Get a haircut.

Wow, has it been a year since we first met shopping with the girls? Has that ever gone by quickly! Too bad you don’t have more time off (and I wasn’t so busy with the girl and some actual work, work)… it would be good to do that again sometime!
Have fun shopping for your spring wardrobe … and can’t wait to see the new hair!

Wow – that’s a busy schedule for R and R — hope you enjoyed your time off.
I miss doing those focus groups.
