The only person I ever knew who wouldn't/couldn't wear one was my uncle-he had neck injury and claimed he had a doctors certificate excusing him of wearing one...putting a seatbelt is second nature to me i assumed everyone automatically wore one too! that is a good rule…i’m just surprised that people have argued about wearing seatbelts. I also have that rule. I will not start my car if all the passengers are not wearing their seat belts. Surprisingly, the most difficult person I have to deal with is MY MOM!!! She HATES wearing seat belts and thinks they're uncomfortable! URGH! My husband used to tell our nieces that the vehicle would not start if everyone's belts weren't buckled. They believed him and knew that if they wanted to go somewhere then they had to put on their belts so the car would start!
