Try doing nothing but installing car-seats over and over…and over again for a few hours! Whew…I may need to make this a new full-time career at some point in my life! The I’d never need to fit exercise into my life after work! I am 1/2 way to being a certified Child Restraint Technician! Tomorrow: Clinic and the Exam!!
In other news, a woman there showed me her Mei-Tei, and I want one! Since I started blogging after the girl was past babyhood, few of you know of my baby-wearing obsession. Let me just say that all the new carriers that have come on the market in the past 5 years are starting to make me very excited…since I gave away all my (5 or 6 at least) carriers except my Hot-sling (which I also gave away, but got back) after the girl turned 2!

okay, after i have this baby you are taking me baby carrier shopping…i have NO IDEA where to start and i don’t want to purchase online if i can’t try it first!
as you know i have the First Journey but will have to return it to its respectful owner in a few months so i want to get something a little more fashionable anyway….the Mei Tei looks neat but i would need to try before i buy…

If you really want a Mei Tei, I have a free one I will send you. It was given to me free by a woman who was showing me how to use my sling. I promised to pass it on. It is khakl and on the other side there is fabric of Asian women carrying their babies. It is reversible for your pleasure. Remember you can’t use it until the baby can support it’s head.

Wendy that is awesome. Can I say that internet friends rock?? Thanx to my internet friends I have a closet full of maternity clothes, a doppler…and now a Mei Tei!!
Dina…you can try (and keep until I need them if you like them) my Hot Sling and and the Mei Tei before we go shopping. There is a store called “Baby on the Hip” I really want to check out!!
