After using some fancy mascaras for a while, I went back to the affordable basics, Maybelline Great Lash. It has a huge following, does the job, and can be found on sale for 3-4$ easily.
A few weeks ago it started clumping, and I decided it was itme to find something new…big bold lashes are very in now, and I want them! I don’t need extensions, since my lashes are long. But, my lashes are also fine and light, so I need a good mascara to make them stand out. I also hate spending time combing and curling them, so the less messy and more curl enhancing the mascara, the better.
Yesterday I grabbed a Rimmel The Max Bold Curves Mascara. It was 6$, I have sometimes liked Rimmel mascara (sometimes not so much) in the past, and the claims were pretty well what I was looking for:

Tried it today, Yeah, It is good. I find it definitely does a great job of darkening, lengthening, curling up and thickening my lashes, and dries quickly. All good. It does clump a bit, but not awfully so. I am adding pics of naked lashes, and with the new mascara, after two coats, combed in the middle:
it looks okay in the pic but i’ve see your lashes look way longer and thicker. It is good for daytime :)
I have the Mybelline one and i don’t love it. i find it is always smudging and i have to fix it with a q-tip.
