From the supermarket. Since only wear my glasses at home from 9-11pm and 7-7:30 am, I figured I could go with cheap and funky (they look redder, and therefore funkier, in real life!):

Squeee!!!!

Let’s compare to last year’s Sunglasses, shall we (why I was making a bitchface, I’ll never know!)?

O.K., here is a recent one (like, taken 2 minutes ago, in a room with bad lighting and some weird sorta glare).

Is it me, or are the glasses the same? OOPs. Let’s double check, shall we?

Phew, not quite the same. Similar style…but the new ones are darker and wider (and the D&G ones are awful quality, the arms loosen every single time I wear them. I have had them adjusted a million times and need to keep a screwdriver in the car for them!!!
While I am sharing pictures, here is a recent one of her gorgeousness in the adorable outfit my Sister and Brother in Law got her in Israel:

Perfection, Yes? I was kinda annoyed today when I went to look at the fake designer sun-glass Kiosk and found they had this style (which they didn’t last week, when I got these) after I spent the money on the real ones. Of course, at least mine are real..but for sunglasses I don’t care so much. I wanted them because they looked perfect, not for the brand. Oh well, if I am true to form and lose these, at least I know where to go to replace them!

I grabbed these too, as my spring/summer shoe collection really is kinda dark and I wanted something to brighten it up. These were on sale for $30CAD at Brown’s. I love how they’ll work with black or brown clothes, capri’s or jeans or skirt. They are super comfy too. For winter shoes and boots, I am all about heels, but I gotta tell you I am loving flats with jeans and capris. Of course, once we get deep into summer, I’m sure to be once again favoring my high heeled sandals. But closed toe flats are perfect for spring: more open and light than winter shoes, but closed enough to not be sandals worn before their time. (I have a “no sandals before June” rule. I don’t know if it is an official fashion dictate, but it just feels right to me! Pumps, flats and peep toes all work well for now.)
So, the whole D&G lust thing sent me running to the local mall “compare to designer sun-glasses” kiosk in search of Sun-glasses that, while not those which I truly desire and will not buy because I will lose them and be out over $100, are at least more flattering and stylish than the ones I usually buy at the drugstore.
I got these. I must say, if I clear all thoughts of those which shall no longer be mentioned from my mind, I like them. I really do. really. crap…I NEED the D&G ones. I better get a tax refund.
But in the meantime? Not bad for $15.00! Eh? Eh?
