everyone loves it
While we’re talking bags, I have been eyeing Matt & Nat for a while, so when I saw this one at Winners for $40, I grabbed it up:
I love the colour, great with Jeans. It has a nice shape, and fits a lot. The handle is a bit of a pain, but it does come with a shoulder strap (which I keep folded up in the bottom of the bag if I need to use it) but looks so much cuter with just the handles.
That is all.
1) All my summer clothes no longer fit, or are WAY too summery (think flowy dress) to wear in September, but it is hot out…too hot for fall clothes. I have been wearing the same jeans and black t-shirt for days now. In addition, my new black bag has not arrived yet, and I have few outfits (seasonal issues aside) that will go with any of my coloured bags. These wardrobe problems would be not that big an issue if I was just working, but I have a party to go to over the weekend, and the Holidays (Synagogue and family dinners) are next week.
2) The Grey’s Anatomy Premier is 9-11pm tonight. The Office is 10-11. We don’t have Tivo or time shifting or a DVR anything like that. What do I do? Last time my parents taped something for me, the man and I ended up watching a video of me and my ex-boyfriend meeting them at the airport after a trip!! Good Times!!
then I found it on Ebay. I feel no guilt, since it has been almost 2 years now since I last bought myself a nice bag (and that one was mostly with gift certificates) that was not from a consignment store and both of my Black hand-bags (one of which I use 90% of the time, depending on the season) are worse for the wear and need to be sent out to Coach for repairs…and I did get it for about $100 less than retail! I am not sure how the seller has a new style (could not be from an outlet) to offer at that price (since usually the newer styles are no cheaper on Ebay, and are often more expensive after shipping) but some things I am better off not knowing!

Yeah…I hate it. Everytime I try to use it, it feels cheap and ugh and I just cannot leave home sporting it. The fact that I saw a possibly 100 year old woman (not that there is anything wrong with that) with the same bag at my local Sushi hang-out (cooked for me, of course!) didn’t help matters.
Now that I have spoiled myself with some designer bags, I can just not return to *normal* ones unless they are very unique and special. Good thing I am not also above a used handbag. Another Good thing that I found this beautiful like new Dooney and Bourke bucket bag at the ex-toggery today. Now I can FINALLY wear some of my pretty summer clothes that don’t work with a black bag.
P.S. if you are into LeSportsac (I am not-though I do have a cute red diaper bag I may use as my back up) there are lots of really nice ones at the Ex-T.
For the budget conscious, here are some super cute ones Ifound at Walmart.com. I am not sure if they are all available in Canada though…
They almost make me wish I’d saved my money and went to Wal-mart!
