A few weeks ago, a Yoga friend of mine posted a picture of her Urvha from last year, and this year. After playing around with arm balances a bit yesterday, I decided to try it with Bakasana. The result:
I am quite pleased! I still have a bit of work to do to get my arms straight, and my gaze ahead, but it is much better than it was last year! My knees are tucked up to my underarms, so that my arms are able to straighten. Also, although it does not show in the picture, I can hold it a lot longer now! I think my next goal for Bakasana is to learn to jump into it…that might take a while!
