  1. Just got introduced to your blog. Felt like I was reading my exact life. I just finished chemo 2 of 6, FEC -D “rat poision” as I like to call it.
    I am a Thornhill mom of 2, lived for and loved my hair, and while I only run 5km, I did it well!
    One more thing I would add in the What not to Say list, “you’re such a strong person, you’ll get through this”. This cancer journey is awful, I am so sorry that anyone must endure this but I say to myself everyday, short term pain for long term gain.

    • Michelle good luck with Fec-D. I am onto D in March…scared of the change because I am tolerating FEC well! You are so right, it is nice to know people think I am strong…but it is not my character that will get me through this, it is the fact that I have no choice!!! You are right, it is all worth it for the long term gain of being cancer-free.
